This is a Model King Lindberg Paul Goldsmith 1964 Plymouth Belvedere 1/25 Scale Plastic Model Kit.  Each Model King model kit includes: a plastic model kit, vinyl tires, instructions, and waterslide decals.

In 1964, Paul Goldsmith made a move to Chrysler after GM dropped out of racing.  Paul and the Nichels Engineering Team became instrumental in developing the HEMI engine into the dominant powerplant of the mid and late '60s. 

This kit represents the 426 HEMI powered '64 Plymouth Belvedere hardtop Paul drove to capture the pole position at Daytona in 1964.  He set a track record of 174.9 m.p.h. in this car.  

Paul Goldsmith, in his time, was an accomplished driver in both Nascar and Indy Car.  In 1964, Paul drove the Plymouth built by Ray Nichols.  He entered 14 Nascar races and had three top five finishes and four top ten.  He won over $20,000.
